Outfit // On A Rainy Day

There's nothing quite as good as an oversized jumper on a grey, rainy day, am I right? I am someone who gets cold really easily, so as soon as that temperature drops to below 18 degrees, I am cuddled up in knits. Today I'm showing you one of those (casual) outfits, which I wore to uni the other day!

The grey jumper I'm wearing I actually got a few months ago in the sale at Mango. It's one of those boxy, almost square, oversized jumpers but I feel like it looks suprisingly flattering on me. Most importantly, it's just really freaking comfortable. For this look I paired it with some high-waisted black skinny jeans from H&M (which I wear pretty much every day), my Casio watch, a Primark backpack (which you wouldn't tell is faux leather) and my new grey, leather brogues. I got these in a random boutique and I'm not sure what the brand is, but they're so comfortable and really stylish. Definitely a pair I'll be wearing to death the next few months!

You can actually really tell the days are getting shorter and a bit colder. I find myself curled up on the sofa with a blanket and my candles lit at about 8PM, which feels a bit insane (but lovely at the same time)! It's difficult to dress yourself right for this transitional time, the weather is just so unpredictable. Especially when I spend a full day at uni, I try to dress a bit warmer than usual (since I'm sitting down typing away most of the time, I get cold a bit quicker), but it's still so tricky. I do feel like this outfit kept me pretty toasty on a 9-5 schoolday and that says a lot!

What do you think of this outfit? How do you choose your outfits with this unpredictable weather?
I would love to hear from you!
