The Last Day of Summer

Like I said before, I am truly ready for autumn to come around. Especially because I associate starting uni (less than ab week to go!) with brisk winds and leaves falling, I don't understand how it can be 28 degrees Celsius right now. I don't want to wear my shorts anymore, or my sleeveless tops... (anyone who loves summer must be screaming at their laptops right now.. sorry!)

So that's the reason I try to incorporate an autumn feel into my outfits, even if my weather app suggests to do otherwise. I've had this skirt for quite a while now (and I also have it in black), but often opt for my skinny jeans or shorts. I thought it would be fun to wear this vintage-look denim with a high-necked, cream top I got in the sale from Zara a few months ago. It's quite thin and with the sleeves rolled up it functions perfectly as an in-between type of clothing for those strange September days. And of course, my trusty Topshop boots never fail to complete an outfit. I added some gold jewellery and wore my crazy (but fabulous) H&M sunnies, which made me feel even more like a sixties/seventies-type of gal!

I love it, but what do you think? :)

  1. Leuke outfit, die sunnies zijn echt heel gaaf! Ik ben ook helemaal klaar voor de herfst net als mijn garderobe, alleen het weer nog niet haha. Heb er toevallig vandaag ook een blog over geschreven :).
