Ohh, you guys, these brownies are another success story in my baking-book. There is nothing more than a chocoholic like myself craves more after a long day of studying or working, combined with a cup of tea, candlelight and a good book (or Gilmore Girls... hello Netflix!) than something super-indulgent and sugary. And guess what? These fudge brownies taste like chocolate butter - but are made with ingredients that will make your body very happy. Ehrm, win/win situation anyone? :D
These brownies are really more a combination between a fudge and chocolate butter than a cakey, muffin-like brownie. The consistency is so dense and the taste is so rich, that after a small square or two, you will be totally full and satisfied. And the thought that these no-bake, super-easy-to-make brownies are not even that bad for you will make you fall in love with them even more...
Trust me, you have to try these! I can assure you you'll be left with messy hands, a happy tummy and
a love-filled heart ! ;)
Start off by melting the coconut oil in a saucepan on a low heat.
Let this cool down a bit. Pour it in a bowl and whisk in the honey
and almond milk. Add the peanutbutter and whisk in as well
(the whisk will help break up the peanutbutter a bit).
Carefully add the cacao powder and fold it in. Then mix in the
vanilla extract and the salt. You can then add the chopped up dark
chocolate and hazelnut (which you can, of course, change up by
anything you may like in a fudge brownie).
Pour the mixture in a brownie tin (which is lined with some
baking paper) and cover it with some plastic. Set this in the fridge
for a few hours or overnight.
It's best to keep the brownie in the fridge until you eat it, since it
does melt quite quickly. But since there are literally no bad
ingredients in this super-tasty, rich chocolate fudge, I'm sure
that's something you can handle! I hope you like it!
